Beach Days is a wonderful family oceanfront home that boasts 6 roomy bedrooms with 5 bathrooms.
As soon as you enter this spacious home, you are greeted by a breathtaking view of the Atlantic Ocean & a walkway to the famous Isle of Palms beach. This serene home has space for everyone to spread out, relax, share meals inside or out, or retreat for some private time.
Guests can enter Beach Days through the welcoming front door into the foyer which is centrally located in the heart of this home, being immediately greeted by sweeping ocean views. From there, you can go to the north wing which has 2 bedrooms, one with a king and one with a queen- both with private en suite bathrooms and private deck entrances. You can stop on your way to the eat-in kitchen overlooking the wooded lot and admire the ocean view right from the kitchen sink! A fluid design allows for ease of meal prep using the built-in oven, microwave, and gas cooktop. There is a 6-seat table for fun conversing while cooking and for casual dining. There is a laundry room in the north hall too.
From the kitchen or the foyer, you can enter the sunken living room and dining room with spectacular oceanfront views. Both rooms are spacious enough for everyone to be together making memories. The living room has been newly decorated in June 2023 with new sofas, one is a sleeper! You will notice the multi-level decks furnished with white rockers, loungers, and a furnished screened-in "living space" with a 4- bar top table and an outdoor seating group. There is a propane grill for your cooking needs as well.
Back inside, on the first floor, the south wing has an enormous bedroom with a king bed, a daybed with a trundle, a new sleeper sofa & a TV perfect for catching up on your favorite Netflix series. This bedroom shares a hall bathroom with the 4th bedroom on the first floor furnished with a queen bed.
The second floor's primary suite has endless ocean views. Wake up in a king-sized bed with the ocean waving at you from the doors leading to the balcony. The massive bathroom has his & her separate vanities and dressing areas. Wash the salt water away from direct oceanfront views in the en suite walk-in shower or rest peacefully in the soaker tub. The second floor also features another oceanfront bedroom with a queen, a designated full bathroom, and access to the overlook balcony.

Reviews
The kitchen is well equipped with all kinds of appliances, bowls, dishes, pots, pans, skillets. You name it, they have it.
Dining area has a table to accommodate 12 easily. Outside you have a screened in area, with ample seating. The decks are large with lounge chairs to enjoy the ocean view.
Our family of 14 enjoyed this spacious home and the spectacular views of the ocean from every window.
The only repair needed was the screen in door. Minor thing.

A very minor and easily corrected problem was the inadequate amount of silverware (11 forks- we joked that you had your fork for the day) snd drinking glasses (plus no plastic tumblers). A tougher problem is that the weather stripping for the upstairs slider is worn away- lots of warm air comes through and the poor AC never turns off. It stayed warm upstairs but not bad enough to disturb our sleep.
That’s it- we enjoyed our stay very much! East Island Rentals was very responsive and easy to work with!

The house definitely could use some upgrades, but the trade off is you are getting a 6 bedroom home right on the beach for less than half what a “new” recently updated home would command for a week in the summer.
The house does have a lot of stairs, and I would have been more concerned if my 80 year old mother would have been with us. The upstairs master bedroom suite is huge. The room has like a “step up” platform that the master bed sits on which can be tricky and easily forgotten in the middle of the night (especially when someone is shooting off fireworks at 2am while you are in a deep sleep!).
The house had everything we needed, and we had more than enough room for 10+ adults a couple of the nights.
It was hot and humid the week we were there but the room temp never was higher than 75 so the AC was serviceable...for those that like to sleep in 70 degree temp I would bring a fan with you for those July-August weeks.
A lot of space so room to spread out for privacy but also large areas for large groups...great screened in porch with dining table was nice. Great panaoramic view of ocean from both upstairs and downstairs.
