The owners have considered every detail in making their home comfortable for their guests.
This perfectly appointed home accommodates 13 guests in five bedrooms, each with its own bath. The home boasts satisfying amenities such as wireless internet, 3,680 square feet of living space, 1,500 square feet of porches, central air conditioning and ceiling fans in every room and porch.
The first floor includes a large primary bedroom offering a King bed, large TV and access to the covered porch with sitting area overlooking a private backyard with pool. Enjoy relaxing in the luxurious primary bath which features a large, jetted garden tub and huge walk-in shower. Double, marble topped vanities offer convenience in the morning. The first floor also includes 2 guest bedrooms; one with a Queen bed, TV and private full bath with tub/shower and one with a bunk bed with a queen lower and twin upper with a full bath with tub/shower. The large family room on the first floor has a Queen sofa sleeper, large TV and access to the porch leading to the patio and pool area. Convenient for wet bathing suits and beach towels, the spacious laundry room includes a utility sink and full size washer and dryer.
The second floor opens into a spacious great room with Brazilian cherry wood floors, comfortable seating, ocean views, large TV/DVD, game table and gas fireplace. The dining area, with a table and seating for 9, shares ocean views and access to the covered porch. The large, well-appointed kitchen features granite counters, stainless steel appliances, a Wolf gas cook top, 2 full size refrigerators with ice makers, built-in wall oven with microwave and dishwasher. The counter chair seating will accommodate 7. The second floor porch is perfect for alfresco meals at a table that seats 8.
A spiral staircase leads to the rooftop deck and amazing panoramic views! The second floor bedrooms consist of a second primary bedroom with a King bed, TV and private bath with shower. The other guest bedroom on this floor features a Queen bed and a private bath with shower. These bedrooms share a porch with views of the waterway, Charleston bridge and sunsets!
The large in ground swimming pool is surrounded by a spacious patio with comfortable lounge furniture. There is also a covered patio cooled by fans that is home to the gas grill, hammock, and additional outdoor dining table seating 6. An enclosed, outdoor shower is convenient for showering after the beach or pool. A ping pong table, located under the house, will keep young and not-so-young guests entertained. There is a large beach wagon filled with chairs and beach toys to make the short walk to the beach even easier. An elevator easily accesses all levels and helps guests maneuver baggage and groceries and those who are challenged by stairs. The open concept of the living/dining/kitchen areas is fantastic. There is plenty of seating (easily space for 12+ with extra seating not being used) for meals, playing games, hanging out while people are cooking, etc. The kitchen has truly everything you need to cook for a large group (including two coffee makers!)
We had an incident at the house on the first night of our stay that required immediate attention from the rental company and they were responsive and kind, which is always a huge plus (especially on the weekend).
The walk to the beach is super quick and direct... and we loved sitting up top on the look out deck as the sun set.

Only a few items that were maintence issues were that the door downstairs in the TV room came off when we opened the door and a lamp needed to be repaired. We left you a note with our keys so hopefully that was taken care of.

The master bedroom on third floor needs a new mattress.
Elevator had some issues.
Pool was overlooked for a day but then quickly corrected for proper chemical stability.
I would definitely rent this home again when we return to IOP.

We vacation every summer at isle of palms and this is by far our favorite Beach hiusr in the "5" bedroom rentals! We would definitely rent again. We loved the second living space for the kids, they made it a dorm room of air mattresses and were able to watch kid friendly shows in the evenings while the adults watched movies upstairs. One down side is the cable/internet services. After a long day in the sun we like to wind down in the evenings watching tv and a few nights the service was completely out. Two bedrooms did not have tv's, that would be nice to furnish for renters in the future. Bedrooms/Bathrooms were all a good size, comfy and clean. Loved the pool area, nice and big, plenty of lounge chairs and it was nice to have a gas grill available for use.

This location is about 20 minutes from Charleston- where you can shop, experience very fine dining and tour majestic homes. We recommend this home if you are looking for a beach and Charleston experience.

Only complaint was the quality of the mattresses in the bedroom with the bunk beds. None of our grandchildren wanted to use that bedroom after trying for one night. The mattresses were very uncomfortable and "lumpy".
As always the house and pool area were very clean. The living area space and layout are exceptional.
