If you're looking for space and comfort in a vacation rental home, then look no further! This is your island oasis on the coveted South side of Isle of Palms. With 8 bedrooms, each with a private bath, this spectacular oceanfront home will accommodate up to 19 of your family and friends comfortably. Well appointed, this luxurious home sits on the Atlantic Ocean with some of the most amazing ocean views on the island! A large and private heat-able pool and abundant pool deck seating offer a relaxing retreat for the adults and hours of enjoyment for the children.
The first floor offers an expansive main area with great ocean views from the living room, kitchen, and dining room! The living room consists of generous, comfortable seating, large TV, and a gas fireplace. Everyone will enjoy gathering in the kitchen for meal preparation! The large island offers seating for 4 along with a convection cooktop. The kitchen has a refrigerator, ice maker, double wall ovens, 2 microwaves, and dishwashers. There is even a second refrigerator in the pantry around the corner! The dining room consists of a table with seating for 8 and a separate round table for 4.
There are 2 guest bedrooms on the first floor, each with a queen bed, a private bath with tub/ shower combo, and access to the first-floor front porch. An oceanfront media room, with a sleeper sofa, porch access, and another large TV has its own full bathroom.
The second floor features 6 more bedrooms. The primary suite, with oceanfront deck access and a King bed, TV, gas fireplace, and private primary bath with a whirlpool tub and walk-in separate shower, and private water closet. Two guest bedrooms on this floor are oceanfront and have a King bed, a Twin sleeper chair or daybed, TV, and beautiful Atlantic views! Each has direct access to the 2nd-floor porch and a private full bath with a tub/shower combo. Two street-side guest bedrooms, one with a Queen bed and one with a King bed have private access to the 2nd-floor front porch and private full baths with tub/shower combo. The last guest bedroom has 2 beds, a twin and a full-size bed, access to the 2nd-floor front porch, and a full bath with a tub/shower combo and pedestal sink.
For added convenience, there is a laundry room/ closet on each floor and the elevator goes from the garage level to both living floors!

Please Note: When checking availability and pricing enter arrival & departure dates, 7 nights, Saturday to Saturday rentals in the mid-spring, summer, and early fall. You may rent 3 or more nights in late fall, winter, and early spring, excluding holidays. Click the Book Now button to view the price and associated fees. In lieu of A $3000 security deposit, we offer a Damage Protection Policy to protect you up to $3,000.00 of damages during your stay. The cost is $129 plus taxes& fees. You are required to include one or the other with your reservation.
Pool Heating Additional Fee: $600.00 plus taxes and fees. We heat the pool to 85, however, this is not a guaranteed temperature as the pool will only heat to about 20-25 degrees warmer than the coldest temperature. We do not guarantee the pool will be a swimmable temperature.

The house is popular and is next to the ocean so there is wear and tear, but the sliding doors open easily. It never smells moldy and the fans, 2 dishwashers, ice machine and grill all work. What more do you need? The cosmetics of the pool definitely need attention, but the water is well maintained, AND East Island is always available. Jill and Christy and Matt are incredible. They make sure we have propane and a tea kettle every year! There are many rental agencies around, but they are a big part of why we come back again and again to them.

The kitchen could use some clean up....needs a full set of measuring cups and many of the pots and pans needs replaced. There are several duplicates and the Teflon is wearing off.
We did have an issue with the pool lights. It took three phone calls over three days to get someone out to look at it.

Some areas for improvement are:
It would be good to have beach towels provided.
It would be good to have 4 ping pong paddles rather than 2 and more balls.
The grill is a bit small for the number of people who would occupy this house.
Would be good to provide instructions for the house sound system.
The decking would not be as hot if a lighter color.
Replace one of the outdoor showers with a toilet for easy access from the pool or ocean with a wet swim suit.

Location was good as it was at a quieter end of beach but we found the restaurants in walking distance were limited and not great. We drove into Charleston for dinner at Hanks one evening and used Uber. Also sullivans island had good restaurants.
We rented bikes, had long walks on beach, played golf, went fishing and surfing!

A repairman arrived the same day you called about the dryers. He looked at both dryers, one on each floor, and found the first floor one working fine and the second floor one needed the vent cleaned out, which unfortuantely, could not be scheduled until after you checked out. It was a great decision, the beach house was just the right size to accomodate our group. The house was clean, everything was in order. And there was plenty of parking for people coming and going. We were able to get some beach walking
in. Weather was nice enough to use the heated pool, which was great. The men even managed to play 18 holes of golf during our stay. The location of the beach house is handy to shopping, super markets, resturants, golf etc. The elevator was a blessing. I don't know what else the owners could have provided, everything was there. I would highly recommend this beach house to any group and will not hestitate to return in the future. Thank you East Islands Rentals for the professionals that you are. You were always there when I needed questions answered.
