When your vacation demands better than the absolute best, then welcome to Sand Serenity. Located just steps from the sand, close enough to walk to all of the entertainment fun the Isle of Palms has to offer and plenty of room for that once-in-a-lifetime beach escape to the South Carolina Coast. From breathtaking sunrises to the north, amazing evening strolls under a crimson sunset to leisurely afternoons lounging by the infinity pool, this home offers everything you could ever need.
This picture-perfect home features an open floor plan, allowing maximum gathering space for everyone between the living room, dining and kitchen areas. Sand Serenity features over 5,400 square feet of living area which doesn’t even include the expansive oceanfront decks and outdoor entertaining areas. The oceanfront infinity pool and integrated spa (heatable for an additional fee) measures 35’ x 17’ and offers that perfect escape after a long day on the sand. Oceanfront outdoor summer kitchen with bar area and even a pool table that converts a ping pong table *See Disclaimer is the absolute perfect place to wind down in the evenings.
Five rooms feature king beds and one of the king rooms has a twin bed, for a child that doesn't want to enjoy the bunk room. One of these King bedrooms is on the first floor, the rest are on the second floor of the home. The sixth generous bedroom is an impressive bunk room for all the kids with two twin-over-twin bunks and one twin-over-full bunk as well as a large open area for plenty of play space. The two upstairs primary bedrooms feature private access to the upper deck and sweeping ocean views as far as the eye can see and two very impressive primary bathrooms.

Gas Pool Heat Fee: $800.00 plus taxes and fees
Gas Spa Heat Fee: $500.00 plus taxes and fees
Pool and Spa Heat Fee: $1150.00 plus taxes and fees
*This is an integrated spa, it does not stay hot 24/7 but runs on an on-demand timer system. When you decide to use it, turn it on 30 min prior. It shuts off after 2-3 hours. The spa heat is set to 102 degrees. Pool heat is set to 85 degrees, however, it will only heat to 20-25 degrees warmer than the coldest outside temperature. We do not guarantee the pool will be warm enough for swimming during colder months.

During mid-spring, summer, and mid-fall, we only rent 7 nights, Saturday to Saturday. During late fall, winter & early spring, excluding holidays, we allow 3 or more night rentals.
In lieu of a security deposit, we offer a Damage Protection Policy to protect you up to $3,000.00 of damages during your stay. The cost is $129 plus taxes & fees. We offer trip insurance coverage as well, please message us for more details.

The weather was cool at times during our stay, so the 1 click fireplace was a lovely addition each morning and evening. We did not use the pool, but we heated the Spa on a few of the clear nights. The elevator was perfect for luggage, groceries and guests who had difficulty managing the stairs.
We loved the location. Having that beautiful pristine beach to walk on as well as watching the spectacular sunrises over the ocean each morning never got old. We took advantage of walking to the local restaurants (Acme Low Country Kitchen, Sea Biscuit and Cafe' Paname!) and a 5-minute drive to Harris Teeter's grocery and Simmons Fish Market was perfect.
We golfed at Wild Dunes and Dunes West which were 12-20 minutes from the house. Don't miss Sullivan's Island, Fort Sumter and a carriage ride in Charleston is a must!
The property management was superb! If we had any questions, they would respond immediately. For example, the Keurig machine quit working and they had a new replacement for us within hours!
We had 4 different groups (4-9 people) of friends and family stay each week of the month with us. Everyone loved this place as much as we did.
We would certainly recommend Sand Serenity for the best vacation spot ever!

The bedrooms were all bright, airy, and beautifully furnished, each having their own large full bathrooms, including the spacious kids' bunk room (which thoughtfully had a tub instead of only a shower). This made it so easy for multiple families (with a few kids) to share the home. There were 2 more desirable bedrooms that opened onto the upper balcony, but there were really no UNdesirable rooms.
Everything was spotless. We spent loads of time on the deck watching the waves and surfers, and swimming in the pool which had a shallow, wide step perfect for our small kids.
It was a super short walk down the private boardwalk to get to the beach, and tons of chairs, pool toys, boogie boards, sand toys, and even a couple of rolling carts were under the deck. The beach did not get too crowded despite being right next to a public access -- the crowds seemed to thicken on the beach in front of the bars a couple blocks away. We could easily walk to that area and enjoy a frozen cocktail or ice cream, but appreciated the peacefulness of the beach in front of this home.
The elevator was a nice touch -- although we had no need from an accessibility standpoint, it was still convenient for unloading and loading our cars from the garage below. There was also ample parking.
The kitchen was well equipped and included 2 dishwashers and an additional drink fridge.
The only minor negatives were that there were quite a lot of ants on the pool deck (and going into the pool) the first day, but East Island responded quickly with an effective natural spray. They did start to come back towards the end of the week, but it wasn't a huge problem for us at all (which is why we did not reach out again). The outdoor fireplace also did not work, but it did shine a light for ambiance.

I have been coming to IOP for 25 years and rented from every other realty company on the Island.
East Islands is all I will EVER rent from again. Trust me when I say , no one can beat their level of service ,even if it is a crazy call about a tv remote ! HA.
This house is gorgeous and superbly maintained and so CLEAN!!!
