Rent a Boat
A day navigating the Intracoastal Waterway and many surrounding barrier islands is a day well spent under the blue South Carolina sky. Isle of Palms Marina rents boats ranging from 16-feet to 24-feet that can fit five to 10 people depending on the vessel model. You can rent a boat for two hours, four hours (half day), or a full day. If you visit during the offseason, from October 1st to May 31st, you receive 20% off half or full day rentals! This is the perfect way to spend a day during your trip to IOP, especially since you can take your rental all the way to see the beautiful Charleston Harbor!
Take a Charter Boat
You can always go surf fishing from the beach or the IOP pier, but renting a charter boat from Isle of Palms Marina is an unforgettable experience. You can choose whether you want to embark on a four or six-hour inshore excursion or a six, nine, or 12 hours (Gulf Stream) offshore excursion. One of the expert guides will then take you out for an exciting adventure where you have the chance to catch redfish, spotted trout, sheepshead, flounder, sharks, tuna, and much more!
