The Isle of Palms is less than 20 minutes from the Historic District of downtown Charleston, which hosts a plethora of special events and festivals throughout the year. The annual spring Spoleto Festival USA, Historic Charleston Foundation’s Festival of Houses, the Southern Wildlife Exposition, Cooper River Bridge Run, Charleston Food and Wine Festival and the Preservation Society of Charleston’s Fall Tour of Homes are just a few of the noteworthy events that bring visitors to the Isle of Palms year after year. There is truly something going on every weekend in one, or several, of Charleston’s numerous green spaces.
On the Isle of Palms, you’ll enjoy mild temperatures during the fall and winter as well as the most impressive sunrises and sunsets. The spring, with its warm temperatures, is a showcase of vibrant, fragrant flowers everywhere, even on the island’s sandy dunes. In the summer, cool ocean breezes make the Isle of Palms the perfect place to be. The average ocean temperature from May to September is 81 degrees and did we mention over 7 uninterrupted miles of stunning Atlantic coastline?
If your travel plans include a visit to the Charleston area, why not include a visit to the beach and let East Islands Rentals introduce you to the most exclusive oceanfront homes on the island we call home, Isle of Palms, South Carolina.
