This is ideal for outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, kayaking, and more. There are also plenty of festivals happening throughout spring, including the Annual Lowcountry Shrimp Festival, which celebrates local seafood with live music and delicious food!
Summer Weather
Summers in the Isle of Palms are hot and humid, reaching up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit during the day. This is an ideal time for beach days or exploring some of the nearby islands like Sullivan’s Island or Kiawah Island. Plenty of festivals are happening throughout summer, including the annual Spoleto Festival USA, which celebrates local fine art with live music, interactive displays, and delicious food!
Fall Weather
Fall brings cooler temperatures back to Isle of Palms, with average highs ranging from 70-80 degrees Fahrenheit during the day and 60-70 degrees at night. This is an ideal time for outdoor activities such as camping, fishing, kayaking, or exploring some nearby trails like Middleton Plantation Nature Trail or Caw Caw Interpretive Center Trail.
Plenty of festivals are happening throughout fall, including the Oktoberfest Charleston at the downtown St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church.
