Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum 

Location: 40 Patriots Point Road, Mount Pleasant, SC

The Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum is a superb, kid‑friendly outing in the Charleston area. This attraction is centered around the USS Yorktown, a historic World War II aircraft carrier. Guests are also invited to tour legendary ships, such as the USS Laffey, and explore a collection of military aircraft.  With engaging features like scavenger hunts, flight simulators, and immersive exhibits, young visitors are both entertained and educated through hands‑on storytelling (additional cost may apply). Charleston Kitchen Experience
